Eye Cleaner Can I Use Eye Glasses Cleaner On DSLR Lenses?

Can I use eye glasses cleaner on dSLR lenses? - eye cleaner

I have a fairly common bottle that I'm free to clean my glasses and lenses. Can I use my camera lens for my Nikon digital SLR? Or I should have a cleaning solution specifically designed for camera lenses?

I agree with Edwin that should not have to use if you have a good lens cleaning cloth. However, I had to a solution of one or two times in the filter, because of the filth of the city has an oil accumulation was not using anything. I have my own glasses and a cheap solution has worked well. I do not recommend using it directly into the target (but only in the filters as they are much cheaper to replace if muck 'em up:)

You will have some kind of UV filter to protect the lens. Absolutely necessary.

In 37 years, never with a lens cleaning fluid. Buying a lens cleaning cloth and a UV Haze filter. Installed to clean the lens, the filter and make yourself have never worried about the color - or cleaning - the first element of the lens.

Even if you buy the fabric and a UV filter, by a circular polarizing filter on your list. Do not waste your money on the price, no filter name. Choose from Hoya, B + W, Tiffen and Heliopan. I suggest a "good" or "Slim" filter assembly to prevent possible vignette (dark corners of the image) with a wide angle lens like the 18-55mm.
